Yours truly with the Blu Frog Girls
The Blu Frog launch wrapped up on Saturday night, and it was one hell of an awesome event.  It was great to see old friends, make some new friends, and to be present at the birth of Blu Frog Energy.  Here’s the scoop:

Blu Frog was finally made available to the public this weekend.  I got to drink the first of many cans on Friday night, and I was impressed.  It tastes great, it’s all natural, I experienced a significant energy boost without that nasty crash so many other drinks cause.  No added flavors, no added artificial sugars, fewer calories, full of vitamins, minerals, nutrients – seriously, what doesn’t Blu Frog have going for it?

Blu Frog is teaming up with NASCAR, sponsoring Larry Foyt’s #56 Chevrolet Monte Carlo at the upcoming Daytona Speedweek.  Blu Frog is also sponsoring Foyt’s #74 Dodge truck earlier in the weekend.  UPDATE: Edited to correct the specifics, full details now available!

Ted Murphy of Izea delivered a great talk on social marketing on Saturday afternoon.  Ted has tons of energy, is a lot of fun to listen to, and really knows his business.  He shared the basics of social marketing, introduced the crowd to sites like Twitter and Facebook, and went so far as to help an attendee sign up for Twitter on the spot!  Nice work, Ted.

There was a great presentation about TLC’s charitable initiative, For Goodness Sake (TLC is the company behind Blu Frog).  While most charities have had to cut back on the donations that they’re making, For Goodness Sake has actually increased its donations!  It a testament to both the great success of TLC and the leadership at TLC.  Being able to give so much during a time of such great need is amazing, and it’s something that I’m proud to be a part of.

The new “Prosperity Plan” outlined all the new ways to get paid by sharing Blu Frog Energy.  There are five, count ‘em, five ways to get paid for sharing (Wait, there are seven ways to get paid! Seven!)!  The most exciting part of the new Prosperity Plan is the up-front money that’s now possible.  I get 50% commission on new sales in the first month, and 40% in the second month!  That translates into what I like to call “stupid” money.  Full details are available here.  Cha-ching!

I got my hands on my first four cases of Blu Frog on Saturday evening.  I couldn’t wait to get it back to my hotel room and chilled so I could start gulping it down.  I didn’t make it back to my hotel room before I sold two cans to a guy standing outside of the hotel.  He asked me what I was carrying, so I told him that it’s a brand new energy drink that’s  great tasting and all-natural.  He shelled out for two cans on the spot!  When I say that Blu Frog sells itself, I speak from experience.

I’m back in Memphis now after that awesome whirlwind weekend in Texas, and I can’t wait to start sharing Blu Frog with everyone I know.  2009 is going to be an awesome year for Blu Frog, for TLC, and for myself.  Want to get involved?  Check out the FAQ to find out how.
