An Unexpected Blu Frog Benefit
By Jeremy on March 10, 2009 | 5 Comments
Over the past couple of days I’ve experienced an unexpected, very positive side-effect of drinking Blu Frog. I’m losing my appetite for diet soda!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of diet soda, my favorite being Diet Mt Dew. I especially like the fact that most diet sodas have zero calories. Maintaining my weight is very important to me, and I hate drinking calories. I eat way too many calories throughout the day as it is, no reason to pile it on with high calorie beverages.
That being said, diet soda isn’t very good for your body. It would be very difficult indeed to make an argument for the health benefits of diet soda. When I drink too many, my body lets me know by feeling, for lack of a better word, icky. I know that icky feeling far too well, as I frequently drink way too many diet sodas.
Drinking Blu Frog is an entirely different experience. I feel good when I drink Blu Frog, and I never get that icky feeling. Blu Frog is crammed full of ingredients that are good for my body, including tons of B6 and B12. With two ounces of Original Limu in every can, I know I’m getting all the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients my body needs. While there are calories in Blu Frog, there are only 68 per can. Even if I drink three in a day, that’s still only about 200 calories. Not bad!
Now that I’ve had the experience of drinking a healthy energy drink, a drink that makes me feel really good, I pause when I reach for a diet soda, asking myself if I really want it. Do I want to put a bunch of trash in my body? No! Do I want to feel that icky, too-many-diet-drinks feeling? No! Do I still drink my beloved Diet Mt Dew? Of course I do, and I still love it. I just drink a lot less of ‘em, reaching more and more frequently for a glass of water or a Blu Frog Energy. Now that’s a positive, healthy, and unexpected benefit of drinking Blu Frog!

Blogs, Brews and Belly Laughs Adds Blu Frog Energy To...
By Jeremy on March 4, 2009 | 4 Comments
Blogs, Brews, and Belly Laughs is going to be the first meetup of bloggers in the Greater North Attleboro area of Massachusetts. Hosted by BenSpark.com and the Speed of Thought Players, the March 13th event promises to be an exciting and hilarious get together. “Blogs and Brews” come first in the form of a blogger meet-and-greet, followed by “Brews and Belly Laughs” when the Speed of Thought Players put on their famous improv comedy show.
If that weren’t awesome enough, BenSpark.com has worked hard to secure some great sponsors for the event. Check it out.
What I am really excited about aside from meeting some new and interesting people is BenSpark’s PhotoBooth. I have been working really hard securing sponsors for this event and I got some great ones and some great prizes. I’ll be supplying a few BenSpark.com hats, IZEA Swag, BluFrog Energy Drink, Ten Bills.com T-Shirts, an XShot or two and I also received two PoGo printers from ZINK Imaging along with over 100 sheets of PoGo ZINK Paper. But you are going to have to wait till March 13 to see what I do with that.
I’m both excited and honored to be a sponsor of Blogs, Brews, and Belly Laughs. I’ve provided a case of healthy, delicious Blu Frog Energy for the event, and I can’t wait to hear how much those crazy Massachusetts bloggers love it.
If you’re a blogger in or around North Attleboro, MA, you absolutely must clear your calendar on March 13th and get to the Speed of Thought Playhouse for what promises to be an awesome night.
Head over to BenSpark.com’s Blogs, Brews, and Belly Laughs post for full details.

Five Reasons to Drink Blu Frog Energy

Blu Frog Energy is the best tasting energy drink on the market. It’s packed full of natural goodness, has fewer calories than the competition, and it kicks like a mule! Here are five reasons that you should be drinking Blu Frog Energy.
Blu Frog Energy Does a Body Good
No added flavors, no added sugars, and two ounces of Original Limu in every can means that Blu Frog is not just good for you, it’s great! See “What’s in Blu Frog?” for more.
Blu Frog Energy Gets You Through the Afternoon Slump
I don’t know about you, but I usually have a little energy slump around 3pm every day. Long days at the office spent in front of the computer can be really tough – draining both physical and mental energies. A can of Blu Frog helps me get through that slump and keeps me going strong until quitting time.
Blu Frog Energy Tastes Great
Blu Frog is full of delicious, natural fruit flavors. Mango and papaya puree, combined with pear juice and apple juice concentrates, create a delicious mix of flavors that make drinking this energy drink a truly enjoyable experience.
Blu Frog Energy Pays You to Drink
Yes, you read that right! All you need to do to earn is purchase some product for yourself and share Blu Frog with your friends! Blu Frog will provide you with your very own marketing site (here’s mine), and every time your friends buy Blu Frog from your site, the company sends you a check! See “Seven Ways to Make Money Sharing Blu Frog Energy” for more.
Blu Frog Energy Helps You Stick It to the Tax Man
Let me tell you how it will be,
There’s one for you, nineteen for me.
‘Cause I’m the taxman,
Yeah, I’m the taxman.– Taxman by The Beatles
A lawyer friend of mine once told me, “Tax evasion is illegal. Tax avoidance is the American way of life.” I agree wholeheartedly, and there’s no better way to stick it to the Tax Man than by starting your own home-based business. Don’t take my word for it! Check out “Let the tax genie out of the bottle” from MarketWatch for further details.
Wrapping Up
There you have it, five great reasons to drink Blu Frog Energy! How can you go wrong with an energy drink that tastes great and is great for you? And while the home-business aspect of Blu Frog certainly isn’t for everyone, it really sweetens the pot for me and for many of my friends.

Blu Frog NASCAR Sponsorship Update
By Jeremy on February 2, 2009 | 2 Comments

Gimme Blu Frog! has just learned that Blu Frog Energy Drink will be the primary sponsor of Derrike Cope’s #75 Cope/Keller Racing Dodge during Daytona Speedweek. This is in addition to our sponsorship of Larry Foyt in the Next Era Energy Resources 250 and the Camping World 300.
Cope will be driving in the Daytona 500 Qualifying on February 8th, and then in the Gatorade Duel on February 12th. Depending on his performance in those races, we’ll be seeing a Blu Frog Energy car in “The Great American Race,” the Daytona 500!
Best luck to Larry Foyt and Derrike Cope at Daytona Speedweek! Let’s go racing!
UPDATE: Here’s the racing and television schedule for the upcoming Daytona Speedweek (all times Eastern).
Sun, Feb 8 Daytona 500 Qualifying FOX at 1pm Thu, Feb 12 Gatorade Duel 150 Speed TV at 2pm Fri, Feb 13 NextEra 250 Camping World Truck Series Speed TV at 7:30pm Sat, Feb 14 Camping World 300 Nationwide Series ESPN2 at 1pm Sun, Feb 15 Daytona 500 FOX at 3pm UPDATE: From the press release posted at the Derrike Cope Fan Club (no permalink):
“We’re really delighted to have The Limu Company and the new Blu Frog Energy drink as our sponsor,” said Cope, the 1990 Daytona 500 Champion. “We’re especially excited to create great synergy for the Blu Frog Energy brand in combination with Larry Foyt. It’s pretty rare but very powerful to have three separate vehicles creating major branding and awareness opportunities for the same company. This Speed Week should give a huge boost to the Blu Frog Energy brand!”
Foyt echoed Cope’s enthusiasm saying, “Our entire race team is excited about the opportunity to partner with The Limu Company and Blu Frog Energy in their national launch. They have a really exceptional product that our team loves, and the Blu Frog Energy brand is an exciting one that NASCAR fans will embrace. All of LimuNation will be thrilled with our races at Daytona, and we’re just as thrilled to have Blu Frog Energy on board as our primary sponsor.”
UPDATE: Qualifying results are in! Derrike Cope drove the #75 Blu Frog Energy Drink Motorsports Dodge and qualified 51st in the Daytona qualifier on Sunday, with a speed of 182.02 mph and a lap time of 49.44 secs. Cope will be racing again in the Gatorade Duel on Thursday, February 12 to earn his spot in the Daytona 500. The event will be broadcast on Speed network starting at 1pm Central time.
Full results from Sunday’s qualifying are here.
For an explanation of Daytona 500 qualifying and the Gatorade Duel, and what that means for Derrike Cope in the Daytona 500, please see this excellent post from Racing News Digest.
UPDATE: Sadly, Derrike Cope’s 22nd place finish in the second Gatorade Duel was not enough to secure a position in Sunday’s Daytona 500. Regardless, it was a lot of fun to watch him qualify and race, and we wish him all the best in the future.
Stay tuned to Daytona Speed Week to see Blu Frog Motorsports and Larry Foyt race in the Daytona 500 supporting events on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. See the schedule above for times and broadcast networks.

Blu Frog Sponsoring NASCAR at Daytona Speedweek
By Jeremy on February 1, 2009 | 2 Comments

UPDATE: Blu Frog is now sponsoring Derrike Cope in the Qualifier and the Gatorade Duel!
At the Blu Frog Energy launch event last weekend, we learned that Blu Frog Energy would be sponsoring NASCAR’s Larry Foyt during Daytona Speedweek, the most watched racing weekend in America. Larry will be driving on Friday and Saturday in the supporting events for “The Great American Race,” the legendary Daytona 500.
On Friday, February 13, Foyt will drive the #74 Blu Frog Energy Dodge Truck in the Next Era Energy Resources 250. On Saturday, Foyt will be back again to drive the #56 Blu Frog Energy Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the Camping World 300.
From the official press release (scroll down to “Larry Foyt Pulls Double Duty at Daytona”):
“All of us at The Limu Company are unbelievably excited about our involvement with Derrike Cope Inc., Mac Hill Motorsports and Larry Foyt,” said Gary Raser, Founder, President and CEO of The Limu Company. “Our members in the field, over 50,000 strong, are huge NASCAR fans and can’t wait to see Larry Foyt race . . . Our sponsorships come at a perfect time for us, as we launch our new Blu Frog Energy Drink.”
. . .
Practice for both events begins on Wednesday, Feb. 11th with qualifying on Thursday for the Truck Series and on Friday for the Nationwide Series. The NextEra Energy Resources 250 will be televised live on Speed Channel Friday night, starting at 7:30 p.m. The Camping World 300 will be broadcast live on ESPN2 Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
